Zvi Segal - CEO
Zvi Joined Metrolight in February 2009, bringing with him multidisciplinary experience of linking business and technology and leading organizations thorough successful transitions in challenging business environment. Before joining Metrolight, Zvi served 14 years in various senior management positions in Orbotech group including Corporate VP and Division President, President of Frontline, President of Orbotech Pacific in Asia Pacific and President of Orbograph. Zvi holds BSEE from the Technion, the Israel Institute of Technology where he graduated with honors.

Jonathan Hollander - CTO
Jonathan joined Metrolight in 1985, after serving four years as a practical engineer in the Israeli army. As an engineer, Jonathan brings over 27 years of experience in power electronics, including 10 years in UPS development. Jonathan has written eight patents and has developed many new products for the general lighting market. At Metrolight, Jonathan is responsible for the innovation direction of Metrolight and technical research, seeking new technologies that will positively impact the Metrolight product line. Jonathan holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion, the Israel Institute of Technology where he graduated with honors.

Eldar Cegla - CFO
Eldar joined Metrolight in 2010 as the CFO. Eldar is an entrepreneur and business manager who, in addition to specializing in finance, financial management and operations, has a deep understanding of R&D processes and technologies. Prior to joining Metrolight, Eldar served as CFO and COO of Mantis Vision. Before that, Eldar served as the CFO, COO and Co-founder of Browzwear International, a software company that provides the fashion industry a 3D visualization platform that accelerates the entire product life-cycle, from concept to shelf. Previous positions include serving as the CFO, COO and Co-founder of Mundo-VR, a software company which developed a generic 3D engine. Eldar holds a B.A in Chemistry and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University where he graduated with honors.

Liby Shapira - VP Operations
Liby joined Metrolight in 2006 as the VP of Operations. Liby is responsible for the quality operation of Metrolight including the planning, definition, development, delivery, maintenance, and management of all operational procedures to ensure client satisfaction and improved service delivery. Prior to joining Metrolight, Liby held several senior management positions at Orbotech Ltd over a period of more than 18 years. Liby served as Orbotech’s Engineering Manager, Director of Production, Director of Orbotech Europe Customer Support, and Director of Corporate Customer Support. Liby holds a B.Sc. in Electronics & Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University, Israel.

Rafi Boneh - VP Research & Development
Rafi joined Metrolight in 2011. Rafi brings with him over 25 years of experience in the telecommunication industry. Prior to joining Metrolight Rafi served as VP R&D at Power-ID, a startup company specialized in Battery Assisted Passive RF-ID tags. Before that Rafi has been with Gilat Satellite Networks for over 12 years, serving a variety of managerial positions in the R&D, and accumulated vast experience in satellite communication, large systems, project management and hardware design. Rafi's last position at Gilat was Director of Hardware and infrastructure, where he was responsible for the hardware platforms of the company. Before joining Gilat, Rafi served for 5 years at RUN - a start-up communication company, member of the RAD group as a hardware engineer, and prior to that he was with the Technological Department of the Israeli Ministry of Defense working as a design verification engineer on multidisciplinary telecommunication systems. Rafi holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University where he graduated with honors.

Eli Ringer - Corporate VP Global Sales
Eli joined Metrolight in 2007 and brings with him over 13 years of experience and extensive expertise in business development, sales and marketing. At Metrolight, Eli is responsible for setting and executing global revenue and profitability targets for the company, developing strategic partnerships with leading industry players in the OEM and commercial markets, developing new territories and markets and expanding the company’s business operations through channels. Prior to Metrolight, Eli held several senior management positions including VP Sales at db@net and Regional Manager at E&M Computing. Eli holds a B.A. in Economics and Business Management from the University of Haifa, Israel.

Hanan Markovich - Director of Product Marketing
Hanan joined Metrolight in 2010 bringing with him over 10 years of multidisciplinary experience in: System Engineering, Product Management and Product Marketing Management. At Metrolight, Hanan is responsible for all marketing related activities including: products road map, market trends, competitive analyses, sales support tools, marketing communication and promotions and the pricing policy. Before joining Metrolight, Hanan served as the Product Manager of the TARGOTM pilot’s helmet in the Airborne Division of Elbit Systems, a defense contractor. Before joining Elbit Systems, Hanan served as a system engineer at Applied Materials – Mask Inspection Division, the global leader of semiconductor equipment. Hanan holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion, the Israel Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Haifa, Israel.

Michael McMahon - VP North America
Michael joined Metrolight in 2009 as the Director of U.S. Business Development. Based in Laguna Niguel, California, Michael is responsible for the overall management of US operations, and the marketing and sales activities for the US market. Michael has generated a wealth of experience, running and managing lines of business within the manufacturing, distribution and utility based sectors. In addition, Michael successfully implemented and launched new business ventures in the renewable energy market for one of the largest national electrical distribution firms in the U.S. Michael holds a B.Sc. in Economics from San Diego State University.
