Metrolight’s new competitively priced LitoDrive LED driver technology is a highly efficient programmable solution for driving and controlling LEDs. The driver offers complete adaptability to the user’s needs, and the LED design. Once selecting the required output current (which can be re-programmed at any time) the driver automatically applies the adequate current and voltage to the LEDs.
Metrolight LitoDrive LED drivers are all self-contained to provide a simple and reliable LED structure implementation. The drivers include a dimming port as standard, and full input protection capabilities - making the driver ideal for street light applications, without the need for additional expensive protection devices to be added.
Metrolight LitoDrive LED drivers also include SELV (Super Electrical Low Voltage) versions, meaning that a 320W driver can supply its full power in low voltage configurations. Coupled with our multi-channel controller, this is a versatile solution - even for high power fixtures. Using this capability you can convert a Class I (often with serially connected strings) fixture to a Class II with some minor changes, gaining dramatic improvement of product reliability by avoiding failures that are related to the LED’s insulation breakdown, as can happen with class I applications. Additionally, the multichannel provides accurate equal current splitting between the LED’s strings (with full protection) whenever LEDs are shorted, or if strings are disconnected.
