Analog Control

Metrolight’s electronic control gear can be connected to a number of standard control devices such as analog dimmers, sensors and timers, a cost effective and automated benefit that delivers additional savings. Analog sensors, dimmers and timers control lighting according to human activity, such as when someone enters a predefined zone within a warehouse, light harvesting scenarios which adjust lighting based on fluctuations in environmental lighting, and time, such as in off-peak periods when less light is required.

Analog dimmer control is all about using an analog control voltage to proportionally dim a lamp. Most systems use a common standard, which uses 0V to represent full off, and +10V to represent full on.
